Brands can totally come to the Fediverse, they just need to understand how it works.

Think of it less like joining a Social Media network, and more like starting an IRC channel.

If you come in trying to monetize your existence here, expect to get dragged.

So I took a look at this "Tribel" social network that liberals keep talking about as an alternative to Twitter, and it is a complete hellscape. Similar baseless hysteria to Parler, just on the other side of the aisle.

And we descend further into the post-truth era.

Alternative social networks shouldn't be factioned around political parties like this. It's dumb.

Fun discovery on the Internet Archive. Seattle traffic camera images from as far back as 2003!

I'd say my life has improved as a result.

1 year goal: replace the word "spectator" in my bio. Gonna need to get better at coding first.

There are a lot of COVID-19/Quarantine inspired songs out there, but this one is the best I've heard so far: demozoo.org/music/292355/

Check out this desktop screenshot of mine from 2005.

Just updated my Twitter so that I can once again pretend I'm going to use it.
