@Mundon Don't let him know about Lunix, the illegal hacker operation system, invented by a Soviet computer hacker named Linyos Torovoltos!

Since Mastodon saw its initial popularity circa 2017, I've noticed that most users and those reporting on it either don't think about the Fediverse as anything more than Mastodon, or treat its history as beginning with Eugen Rochko and the beginning of Mastodon. In fact, Mastodon is the latest in a long line of federated social networks going at least back to Identi.ca, and though I wasn't around for all of it, I find this history pretty interesting. (Thread; boosts welcome!)
I made "buffalo chicken" with high-protein tofu and Frank's hot sauce, and absolutely nailed it on texture and flavor! Extremely easy to throw together! #veganfood #food #dinner
@InternetEh It's a great remake!
Hey, I made a bunch of weird, quarter-scale retrocomputers. This is a thread, so feel free to share.
Or check out the documentation in non-mastodon form:

@InternetEh Starting with the Original, Kickstarter, or VRV/Netflix adaptation?
They're all pretty good, but they're also each a unique experience.

It was published 5.5 years ago (and counting).
@rysiek Amazing that they thought that splitting the Fediverse into a bunch of independently run communities is "siloing".
That's the exact opposite!
Getting in on the #Mosstodon trend with some pics I took on my walk after work today at Frink Park & Leschi Park in #Seattle.
If #Mastodon existed in the 1980s! Please boost this one!
