How can it be that those "genius" billionaires are so incredibly stupid at the one thing they claim to be good at: Running businesses.

Zucks lost 60% of FBs value just this year and lays off 11k facebook employees.

Musk bought a platform worth 13B for 44B and runs it currently into the ground.

This FTX dude stole the billions invested into his company by everyday people and sucked at this crypto thing he claimed to be an expert on.

I get the impression Billionaires are fxxking dumb.

Andy Ngo vocally supported Amos Yee and Ngo posted a selfie with Yee a year after he publicly admitted to being a pedophile.

I have to say, I am still boost shy here at #Mastodon - Simply because of negative experiences from the other "place". I always feel like I may annoy or over-boost - But then I remember, this is how it works here. This is how we support others and find those who interest us. Strange, shifting to a more enjoyable social media platform.

Great timing: Stadia refunded me ~$200 right before the Steam Autumn Sale. It's time to buy some games!

Hardware-wise I don't really have anything other than a GeForce Now subscription 🫤. I am thinking about getting a Steam Deck soon.

I am enjoying Mastodon, but was trying to explain it at dinner and someone said that, in the limit, it sounded like RSS done the hard way, and, man, I'm still salty about google reader.

So, don't tell anybody, but we're going to announce Palm Pilot emulation in the browser at Internet Archive in the next week or so. I've still got to get descriptions in for the hundreds of apps that are uploaded, and add a few more classics. But if you want to help with that, or just let me know how it's going, ping me here.
