For People Wanting Less Bird Crap on their Mastodon
Under preferences, you can find the "filter" menu. Click "add filter" and you can filter by key word on any area of the Fediverse you want. You can even expire the filter if you choose. If you filter the "T" word that is the name of the Bird App, that should do the trick to eliminate most of it.
@Alex @odanu I've also been unfollowing and/or blocking RT-only accounts, of which there are a fair number. If the ONLY thing an account posts is RT's, then they're actively supporting Musk, and that's not OK with me. #NeverAgain
@Alex good advice. I TRY to remember to change the little globe at the bottom to "unlisted" for replies, but forget.
